Burger Rating: 3.25 outta 5 I was pretty damn excited to eat here. Head chef Paul Shoemaker, at his defunct Malibu establishment Savory, created The Wolfmother one of the best burgers I've ever had. My sense memory was so strong I instinctually started drooling walking through The Flats doors. PARKING: There is valet on weekends and some metered parking in the neighborhood. Both times I've been to The Flats I've found metered spots. The DECOR is what you'd expect from an L.A.
There's plenty of paid adverts major corporations like Disney and Universal dish out to win your tourism dollar. But if you've only got one day, or five, and you're interested in some experiences that locals appreciate, here's my two cents. But in L.A. that two cents may cost you $10, so come prepared. Festival Fallout or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and just Make Movies So I've just finished a good little run through some festivals with my short film Unlikely Temptations. In one weekend I played in three fests: HollyShorts FF (Los Angeles), Revolution Me FF (Brooklyn) and Shredder Intl FF (Vermont).
